Overview
What Yecoyz Core is, why the scripts need it and how it works.
Yecoyz Core is the shared framework layer and callback system for the Yecoyz scripts. Before it, every script carried its own bridge for ESX, QBCore, Qbox and standalone. Now they all load Core, so framework support lives in one place and the scripts stay small.
Yecoyz Core is open source on GitHub, so you can read the code and change it for your server.
What it does
| Part | Description |
|---|---|
| Framework detection | Finds ESX, Qbox, QBCore or standalone and gives every script the same functions |
| Players and jobs | Character data, job, grade, duty state, boss check and money, the same on every framework |
| Inventory | Uses ox_inventory when it runs, otherwise the framework's own inventory |
| Notifications | Uses ox_lib, the framework's notify or the GTA feed |
| Callbacks | Server to client and client to server requests that replace lib.callback |
| Events | Player loaded, player unloaded and job updated, the same on every framework |
Requirements
| Dependency | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ESX, QBCore or Qbox | No | Without one, Core runs in standalone mode |
| ox_lib | No | Used for notifications when it runs |
| ox_inventory | No | Used for items when it runs |
