Overview

What Yecoyz Jukebox does and how it works.

Get yecoyz_jukebox

Yecoyz Jukebox turns the jukeboxes in your world into working music players. Players walk up to a jukebox, lean on it and pick a song on its own glass. Everyone nearby hears the same song at the same position, with real 3D sound. There is no menu: the song list, the "now playing" screen and the queue are drawn on the jukebox itself.

It works with ESX, QBCore and Qbox through yecoyz_core.

Features

Feature Description
In-world song list Songs are listed on the jukebox glass with codes like on a real cabinet (A1–A8, B1–B8, …). The player leans on the jukebox and presses its buttons, and everyone around sees it.
Synced music The server keeps the time for every jukebox. Players who walk in or join late start at the same position as everyone else.
3D sound Volume and left/right pan follow the camera. Walls, closed doors, closed vehicles and being outside the building muffle the music, with the bass coming through like a club next door.
Now playing screen Anyone close sees the current song, progress, a visualiser and what's up next. A coloured glow in front of the jukebox pulses with the music.
YouTube and links Players can play YouTube videos or direct audio links (mp3, ogg, wav, Dropbox, Google Drive). Title and artist fill in automatically.
Shared song list Played links stay on that jukebox's list so anyone can pick them again.
Queue Songs queue up with limits per jukebox and per player, plus a cooldown between picks.
Song price Optionally charge cash per song through yecoyz_core.
Placement editor Admins place, move, turn and name jukeboxes with a free camera and a gizmo.
Works with map jukeboxes Every jukebox of a supported model on the map works out of the box, for example the one in the Yellow Jack.
ox_target Used automatically when it runs. Otherwise a themed prompt (E) is shown.

Supported models

Model Notes
prop_jukebox_02 The standard GTA jukebox, for example in the Yellow Jack.
bkr_prop_clubhouse_jukebox_01b The biker clubhouse jukebox.

Other models need their own entry in models in the configuration.

Note

What is playing is kept in server memory, so restarting the resource stops the music. Placed jukeboxes and saved links are kept.
