Usage
Controls, commands, links and the jukebox editor.
Get yecoyz_jukeboxUsing a jukebox
Use the jukebox with ox_target ("Use the jukebox") or the prompt (E). The player walks to the buttons and leans on the cabinet, and the camera looks down at the glass where the songs are listed. A key card in the bottom right corner shows the controls.
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| ↑ / ↓ or mouse wheel | Browse the songs |
| Enter / E | Play the song, or queue it when something is playing |
| L | Play a link |
| ← / → | Jukebox volume (for everyone) |
| Space | Skip |
| R | Pause / resume |
| X | Stop and clear the queue |
| Delete | Remove a link from the list (whoever added it, or an admin) |
| Backspace / Esc | Leave |
Playing links
Press L at the jukebox to open the link dialog, or stand at a jukebox and use /jukebox url.
| Link | How it plays |
|---|---|
| YouTube (watch, youtu.be, shorts, embed, live) | Through a hidden YouTube player. Title and channel come from YouTube. Videos that don't exist or don't allow embedding are refused with a message. |
| Direct audio (mp3, ogg, wav) | Streamed directly. Title and artist come from the file's tags, or from the file name. |
| Dropbox and Google Drive share links | Turned into direct downloads automatically. |
Title and artist fill in as you paste the link, and you can change them before pressing Play. Spotify links aren't supported.
A played link is added to that jukebox's song list, tagged YOUTUBE or LINK, so anyone can pick it again. The list keeps up to linkLimit links; when it's full, the oldest is removed. Links that fail to load are removed by themselves.
NoteYouTube plays outside the 3D audio engine, so YouTube songs get distance volume but no left/right pan or muffling through walls.
